McClain County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Direct those requests to the government office that maintains the record.
Find the Right Official Office
For McClain County custody and booking questions, begin with the McClain County Sheriff's Office at 121 N. 2nd Ave., Purcell, OK 73080. The office line is (405) 527-2141, and regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The jail line is (405) 527-1961. Dispatch is available 24 hours at (405) 527-4600. For an emergency, call 911.
The MCSO Records Division accepts written Oklahoma Open Records Act requests by mail, in person during regular hours, or at mcsorecords@mcclaincountyok.gov. Identify an existing record with the person's full name, an approximate booking date, a booking number if known, and the record sought. Ask MCSO for any fee estimate for a booking photograph or format because no booking-photo fee is posted.
- For a person who may be in county custody, use the official MCSO current in-custody roster. A roster result is not an archive or a court disposition.
- For a booking record, photograph request, or correction to an MCSO-held record, use the MCSO Records Division and its written-request process.
- For a McClain County district-court case, contact Court Clerk Kristel Gray, 121 N. 2nd, Suite 231, Purcell, OK 73080, (405) 527-3221, and check the OSCN docket search. OSCN does not replace the court's case-management system.
- For a person sentenced into state custody, use the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Offender Lookup. It does not confirm a recent McClain County booking.
- For a city police report or municipal matter, use the Newcastle Police Department, Blanchard Police Department, or Purcell Police Records Division. City records and county jail records may be held by different offices.
- For a federal prisoner, use the official BOP inmate locator. For federal immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
- For a warrant concern, use an independently found MCSO or Court Clerk number. Do not rely on a number supplied by a caller claiming payment is required.
